The
risk of hexazinone injury is relative high. Excessive rates
result in irregular yellow patches on leaves, which later
turn dark brown and die. Affected areas are not confined to
certain parts of the leaves or consistently shaped. Darkening
along some leaf veins is sometimes seen. In severe cases,
bushes may drop nearly all leaves.
Bushes
are typically dead the following spring.
Velpar
injury symptoms usually appear in the middle of the summer.
Leaves may eventually fall off.
